Inspired by the difficult realities faced by displaced children and women in Burma, our founder, AZ, was deeply moved by what he witnessed—bamboo schools held together with hope, and communities surviving with minimal resources. During his travels, these powerful experiences stayed with him.
Together with his compassionate colleague, David Li, they founded the Southern Asia Hope Foundation to bring lasting change. Their mission: to improve education, living conditions, and opportunity—empowering vulnerable communities to build a brighter future, one step at a time.
